BRIDGE THE GAP

The Annual Fund

Please help the Bridges Academy bridge the gap between the tuition charged and the actual cost to educate our students.

Where Does Your Contribution Go?

In these extraordinary times, The Bridges Academy will rely more than ever on our families, alumni, and community, as the challenges faced this year to safely operate a healthy facility for our students, faculty, and staff brought unexpected expenses for the necessary equipment and supplies required to operate a full five-day program for both in-person and distance learners. We also plan to continue to build and enhance our academic, cultural-arts, and extracurricular programs that make The Bridges Academy an exceptional school. Finally, we depend on your generous donations to acknowledge our hardworking faculty and staff with competitive compensation and benefits, something that was particularly well-deserved this year.

Tuition gives us a school. The Annual Fund gives us the Bridges experience.

Why Doesn’t Tuition Cover all of Bridges’ Expenses?

Tuition alone contributes only 90% of the operating budget of the school. The Bridges Academy, like other independent schools, utilizes tax-deductible donations rather than significant tuition increases to provide the best education possible. Tuition gives us a school. The Annual Fund gives us the Bridges experience.

How Much Should I Give and When?
Your contribution of ANY AMOUNT impacts the experience of all of our students and touches all corners of our building. We ask every family to regard The Bridges Academy as your top philanthropic priority and help us reach the $75,000 goal for this school year. At this point, we are halfway to reaching this tremendous milestone.

How Do I Give?

All donations will be accepted through June 30, 2021. Send in your tax deductible check to ATTN: Renee Elder, The Bridges Academy, 339 Snedecor Avenue, West Islip, NY 11795 or click the link below.
