The Bridges Circle

The Bridges Academy seal

The Bridges Circle is where parents, alumni, teachers, students, and staff come together to create opportunities, celebrate milestones, and support every child’s journey. Parents lift programs through the Parents Association, alumni inspire, teachers and staff guide growth, and students bring curiosity and joy—each completing the circle that makes Bridges Academy stronger. Through volunteering, mentoring, events, and giving, The Bridges Circle connects generations and strengthens the school community both now and for the future.

Amanda Trivedi – Co-President

Every parent is part of the Parents’ Association, and our events thrive on parent volunteers. The PA enriches student life with assemblies, speakers, field trips, and more—while bringing families together through community-building and fundraising. Each year, PA contributions fund vital curriculum, technology, facility upgrades, and other projects that directly benefit students. Together, parents, faculty, and staff create a vibrant Bridges community where everyone’s involvement makes a difference.

Alysa

Syracuse University, BA Film Production

Cinemaphotographer

"The Bridges Academy gave me a solid foundation to succeed in  high school and college. What truly made Bridges so special for me was that in 7th grade I joined the film club and to my surprise began my passion for filmmaking.  I am now a cinemaphotographer working on films, documentaries and commercials.  Bridges gave me the opportunity to explore a subject outside the classroom, which ended up being a game changer for me."

BS Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering

Employed at Bruce S. Rosenblatt & Associates, LLC

"I attended St. Peter's, now The Bridges Academy, from kindergarten through 8th grade. This school prepared me for future academic work by encouraging strong academic values and integrity. The teachers were able to focus on me and my classmates due to small class size, and their attention really showed. The efforts of the Bridges Academy have propelled me in a way nobody could have predicted, as I’m now a graduate of Webb Institute. With a dual degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, I’m prepared to start my career in the marine industry, which was only made possible with the education I received. As I pursue my future, I’ll be sure to remember the school that set my foundation."

"The Bridges Academy developed my character and started my academic career and my love of learning. This school excels in individual attention and close relationships with teachers and students. Everyone can benefit from this school because of the personalized classroom experience. Coming to this school won’t make you just another student, but rather make you a member of a big happy family! I’m so grateful to The Bridges Academy for all the wonderful memories I have and the advantage it has given me in high school and college. I’m sure this school will lead many children to success and I wish the best of luck to its future. I want to thank everyone here for making my childhood wonderful and my future bright. I love this school and I’m sure you will too."

Juliet

Cornell University, Bachelor in Electrical and Computer Engineering - IBM Hardware Developer

I have to thank the Bridges Academy for the drive and courage that I have today. From the moment the school was founded, there was a whole team of parents who were so passionate about their children’s futures. As I progress further into my own career, I always think back to the moms and teachers who worked so hard for their community. I want my work to make the world a better place, and the Bridges Academy modeled that to me everyday I was there."

Magna Cum Laude from Sacred Heart University

Currently pursuing a Masters in Science in Cancer Epidemiology at Georgetown University

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Sacred Heart University in 2024 and am now living in Washington, DC. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Science in Cancer Epidemiology at Georgetown University. I am actively applying for my doctorate to pursue a career in cancer research.

Even though I spent only one year at The Bridges Academy,  it played a key role in shaping my character by encouraging resilience and a positive attitude. That experience gave me the confidence and foundational knowledge that supported my growth through high school and into college.
